Portland Arch Nature Preserve
I was the only soul making my way through these trails today. The snow and ice descending from the cliffs made this place feel even extra otherworldly today. Sometimes the trail would wind directly under some of these icicles which were up to 20 feet tall and probably weighed a good bit. Needless to say I was a little leery while walking underneath!
All in all I had a great day of shooting today. I woke up early hopeful for a sunrise but it ended up grey and foggy. I made the best of it though and got a great shot of the new bridge over the Celery Bog (you’ll see that one in tomorrow’s post)- and this afternoon was spent here at Portland Arch where I shot plenty of photos.
