Abandoned barns in rural Indiana are easy to come by. I am sure that I could make a thick coffee table book full of abandoned barns in Indiana. It does force me to be a little more creative when I shoot a barn.
Anyway, I was driving around looking for shots on this particular winter day and noticed the shadow of the tree branches on the side of the barn. It definitely called for some spooky treatment in post processing.
Camera: Canon 5D Mark II
Lens: Canon EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM
Settings: 21mm Focal Length, f/18, 1/40 second exposure, ISO 100
This was one shot taken on a tripod, processed in Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS6. Texture was added with OnOne Software Perfect Effects and brought back to Lightroom for some split tone color grading to give that Blue/Yellow look.
