On our hike through Mueller State Park in Colorado we came upon a few horseback riders. This was the one time, though, that some of them rode by and the backdrop was perfect! I am always amazed at how horses come out looking very statuesque in photos. To me this almost looks as if these riders are setting upon a couple of sculpted statues of horses.

There was no room for bracketing here, and especially as I instantly framed this photo in my mind, this is, of course, just one shot. Most of the editing was taken care of in Lightroom with some clone-stamping and selective blur and vignetting done in Photoshop.
