This is inside the mill at Spring Mill State Park in Indiana. We visited this weekend and they actually get the watermill moving and grind some corn every hour for visitors. I moved away from the crowd and took some photos of the huge wooden gears turning here.
Camera: Canon 5D Mark II
Lens: Canon EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM
Settings: 32mm Focal Length, 1/10 second @ f/4.0 and ISO 1600
I cranked the ISO up on this one and sat my camera on top of a post to steady it the best I could. I had my tripod, but didn’t want to bother with all the people around. It worked well and I got the shot I wanted. This is a single exposure processed with Lightroom, NIK Color EFX Pro, and OnOne’s Perfect Effects and Focal Point.
